Cleveland area Support Group Meetings

Does anyone know of any? Besides at University Hospitals?

There's a weekly bariatric support group that meets at New Directions, on Chagrin Blvd. near Lander Circle, next to Orange Library, Wednesdays from 7 - 8:30 pm. Members of the group meet for dinner beforehand at nearby restaurants. Phil is the moderator. Members had their surgery at various local hospitals, plus people stop by pre-op to ask questions and get support. I've heard about others on the CCBS website. This is the one I'm most familiar with but they seem to be cropping up all over town.

Hi Lisa! I am also from Parma. I had my surgery on September 20th at St. Vincent's -which is the Cleveland center for bariatric surgery aka CCBS! There is a group that meets every other tuesday in north olmsted and I just heard of one today that meets at Donato's at pearl and ridge rds. on Monday nights. CCBS also has support group meetings.
