Finding A Hospital

Dear Ohio, I need help to find a hospital to have the surgery. I live in Akron and Akron General, Akron City, and St Vincent in Clevleand do not accept the Medicaid card. Where aresome others hospitals that do take the card?????????

Is OSU too far for you? I'm going there and have to drive about 2 hours to get there. Well worth the drive in my opinion. Hugs, Susie

I recommend OSU if you can get there,that is where my surgery was done. I did not use Medicaid but a lot of the people I take care of go there and they are very accomodating. God Bless and good luck.

Did you look into University Hospital in Cleveland? That is where I am going. I don't have Medicaid but did hear of a lady that had it going there. They are wonderful to deal with! Sue

I don't know if they take it but Cleveland Clinic has a new WLS program.
