To get my house mostly clean.

After having to rely on others to do most stuff around here for the past month I actually felt good enough to clean my house. Now granted I couldn't get the whole stankin thang clean (that is a 4 hours straight kind of job because I have a pretty big house) BUT I got all of the little fingerprints off of my walls and switch plates and a few other things and it really lifted my spirits. I also got some questionable "FOOD" items out of the refrigerator. Didn't even bother to wash out the containers those items were in. I just pitcharooed it, whole kit and kaboodle

What was the first thing you did as a post op that made you feel like you were "normal" again???for any pre-ops, what thing will be the hardest for you to let go while you are healing? I knew, for me, it would be my house. I am just so picky about how things are around here it was hard to sit back and look at certain things and know I wasn't able to take care of them myself. I am very independent and hate being incapacitated. What a great way to close out 2004!!!
Happy New Year all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
