Hello, I had to opportunity to stop by and visit with Jeremy and his wife. I will give you this update from a post-op, perspective. First of all, Jeremy's color was wonderful. He opened his eyes several times and smiled too! He nodded his head when I asked him if he recognized me. His eyes opened real wide and he seemed to have a moments that he could really be clear minded. Based on Jeremy's size I would say he has lost at least a hundred lbs since entering the hospital. One thing that impressed me was the strength in his hands and arms. At one point while I was holding his hand I asked him if he wanted to arm wrestle and he nodded yes. He then applied pressure to my hand and I was shocked at the resistance he gave me. Ok, so he almost put me down! HeHe. I was very impressed. Cheryl and I spent some time there with Jeremy, his father, and his wife. We both were impressed with how well they both were holding up. I don't have any "numbers" to post but, I can say that I did look at the BP machine while I was there. His BP was 115/65 Robbie said his white blood count was 25,000 down from 32,000. Jeremy is strong and a fighter. Just keep him in your prayers.

Thanks for the update, I check here several times a day to see how he is doing. Prayers are going constantly, I am sure, with all of us out here.

Thank you Bo. Having a new perspective on this is wonderful for all of us. I am so glad that he seemed as good as he did when you saw him. As a post op and an RN that was very, very encouraging. I will keep in my prayers. Thanks so much for the update. Valerie

i agree with valerie that it is good to hear another perspective...while we all care deeply for jeremy's progress to regaining his health; you and cheryl are able to see things differently...being a bit detached from the family and day to day.. thanks for the update!
