Warning...MUSHY
Hi Jaimee and the rest of the Ohio Board, What a beautiful message! I'm so glad you are on the losing side and are appreciating life. You must not have lost your power since you were online on Christmas Eve. My Mom lives in Worthington and lost power Thursday morning and it didn't come back on until yesterday. So, she stayed with me the whole holiday weekend. I hope you and everyone had a GREAT Christmas and I look forward to sharing the New Year with you all! Denise
We DID have power! Our home was one of maybe 15 homes in my little neighborhood that had it. Even the people across the street from me were without. Our church was closed (even yesterday) Which meant that we couldn't celebrate there. So, we got together with our neighbors and had a little Christmas Eve service of our own. It was nice. Friday we were up until 2 am wrapping presents and stuff. We have been working all week, after the kids go to bed at night, to finish the fleece blankets we were making. My husband has become quite proficient with the rotary cutter. LOL. We always make something special for our kids and let them open it before bed on Christmas Eve. That left us with Friday night to do the wrapping. The kids were thrilled with their new "blankies" to cuddle up with . That made it worth all of the trouble of staying up late to make them.
