Have your feet gotten smaller too???

crazy question huh?? I was just wondering from you post-op gals & guys have you lost weight (size) in your feet? I follow the rule *No such thing as dumb question* I have a AWESOME pair of boots I have not been able to wear in several years. Should I keep them or e-bay them?? Not yet, but my daughter lost several sizes with a 60 pound weight loss....hang on to those boots!

OMG YES!!! I dropped down at least 1 1/2 sizes! Blew me away. My boss swears I got shorter too! Keep 'em! You never know, you may just get right back into them. You have fat pads on your feet too, and you can lose weight in your feet. I also lost almost 2 ring sizes as well. Funny, all those weird places like our feet that you never realize you could shrink too! You just join in anytime KY girl! We'd love to have you here! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Val

I thought I was nuts when lost 1 size in shoes and 2 in ring size. For this I am grateful because my sister and daughter bought me a lovely ring for Christmas last year and can now wear it. You are right there is no such thing as a dumb question. Merry Christmas and safe Holidays.

I also lost 2 ring sizes. I went from a 7 all the way down to a 5 in rings. So our anniversery I got my rings resized. As for the shoes. Also down in sizes. My 11 year old daughter and I can both wear the same around a 6 or so. KEEP THOSE BOOTS!!!!!!!!

1 month postie here and I can answer this one already. YES! everythings a slip on shoe now Even my socks that choked my ankles are falling down. Only all these shoes I got in my closet are just going to slip on to the back of there until after winter. All I can see is my WARM snow boots at this point. Ring sing has dropped from 11 to a 9.5 in a month also. same with the (panties) . Happy Holidays!

Well I am only 11 days out ... have lost 22 pounds ... but those ridiculous pointy-toed shoes I bought a couple of months ago now fit me. Can't explain it but I love those shoes! Kitty B. RNY 12/13/04 251 / 229

Yes the tootsies do indeed shrink. I have lost about 30 pounds and my favorite pair of Sketchers are now flip-flops. In a way it stinks because they are still in really good shape and the dumb things are pricey, but hey, if it means I have little feet, I'm all for it. The heels of my socks now come up to my ankles too. It looks silly so I will be investing in new socks fairly soon. Leaving wide-width territory will expand the horizons so much more for this shoe hound so you won't hear any complaining out of me!!!
