OSU Self Pay costs???
Has anyone had surgery at OSU and were self pay? I'm trying to decide between OSU, Barix in Groveport or the place where my sister had surgery in Indy. I know the costs at Barix and Indy, I'm trying to find out some info on OSU. I've heard since they are a university they may be less for self pay. So much research to do
I live in Spfld so Columbus is an hr and Indy is 2 hrs. I'm pushing for laprascopic surgery, my sis had that and she is about 40lbs heavier than I am. I had a surgery date w/ Dr. Maguire but at the last minute they decided they wouldn't do self pay laprascopic...someone had complications so I didn't get my surgery

Have you tried Trace Curry's office at Deaconess Hospital in Cincinnati, You should call, you would be surprise! He is going to do my surgery and I couldnt be happier. You can even leave him a message here and he will tell you I am sure. Give Leslie a call. My friend had her surgery with OSU and it was around 35 K
have a good day

OSU has an excellent program. Not only do you get all the information about the surgery, you get educated on nutrition, behavior modifications and they can set up an excercise program for you as well. OSU is alot less than most places. Time is longer because you have to go through the program, they make sure you know what you are getting in to. I would reccomend this program to anyone. I have not had my surgery yet, not because I don't want, but because I have to wait on insurance, I will be using OSU.
