Thank-you to all!!!

I just wanted to let everyone know that I appreciated the help with the psyc referals. I did get an appointment and would have had the eval in the time frame from the info that everone gave me. I ended up having to cancel the appointment and all hopes and plans for having the surgery. I guess the good lord does not me to have it. I have been fighting a losing battle and have stuck with it but the last road block was the end of the line I guess. My insurance is no longer going to pay for the surgery after 12/31/04 and I just found out that it also will not pay for any pre-existing condition or any condition relating to one before 1/1/04 till 1/1/05. Nice HUH? I have not been at this job long and I only had insurance prior to this place starting 1/1/04 so they have a 12 clause that will not cover any pre-existing condition. And we all know that if you are going to have the surgery it is a know pre-existing condion! Boy was I mad cause that clause covers all of my problems. It still makes me mad, and being as how they are wrinting it as an exclusion then you can't even force them to pay for it. Well I just wanted to blow off steam so thanks again for all the help everyone. Oh just in case anyone likes Dr. Phil his Fri show is going to be on the Gastric by-pass, it will be interesting to see his input. Best wishes to everyone! Shelia
