???Question of the day???
What was your favorite Halloween costume? I liked my poodle skirt that I had a few years ago. Of course it is to big now, so for this Halloween when I go to the Obesity Help Convention in LA, I will be a beauty pagant contestant. I am wearing a black evening gown with a tiara and a banner that says "Ms Understood". The convention is going to be so much fun, I can't wait!!! Cheryl
HI Cheryl,
This is a great question. I don't dress up for Halloween but I do have a favorite costume. Today, We had a big celebration at our church. Looking Back On Days Of Old". Everyone was supposed to dress like their own favorite year in life. We were told a couple of months ago to think of a costume. Well, I have a hard time finding clothes to fit me properly for now so I knew That I wouldn't be able to find a costume to buy. I thought about it for several weeks and I was joking with my mom. I told her I was going to get a bib, a binky, and a bottle and go as a baby. She said "You will not do that for church on Sunday Morning will you?" I said Yes I will. I got a piece of felt and made myself a big bib. I got gold glitter paint and wrote "Baby" on it. Then under that I wrote 19XX-born, 1977-born again(that is when I accepted Jesus into my heart), and under that I wrote 2005-A New Life Again(Because I'm going to have my surgery). I also carried a bottle and had a binky too. I had such a good time, and everybody thought it was great.

HI CHERYL; GREAT QUESTION!!! MY FAVORITE AND BEST COSTUME WAS WHEN I DRESSED AS AUNT JAMIMA. (YOU KNOW PANCAKES AND SYRUP) I PAINTED MY FACE,NECK, HANDS AND LOWER ARMS CHOCOLATE COLOR, WORE A LONG BLACK SHIRT WITH A APRON, FLANNAL SHIRT AND A BANDANNA LIKE SHE WORE ON HER HEAD. NOT TO MANY PEOPLE RECONIZED ME!!!!! I WENT INTO WORK AND NOBODY KNEW WHO I WAS, THEY ASKED WHO WAS I THERE TO VISIT AT THE HOSPITAL!!!! I LOVED THAT COSTUME SO MUCH. I DON'T THINK I HAVE THAT SKIRT ANYMORE. MAYBE I WILL ASK MY MOM TO MAKE ME ONE AND DRESS UP THIS YEAR!!!!. HAPPY HALLOWEEN AMOS!!!!
JENNIFER AKA AUNT JAMIMA
Going back a few years, ( I was in my 20's ), I went to a party dressed as a Hershey Kiss... A friend of mine worked at a cereal plant and had given me this big roll of silver mylar, that they use for bagging cereal. I used a hula hoop as the bottom to keep it held out at the bottom. Then cinched the top together and had toilet tissue with the Hershey name on it coming out of the top. I carried a bag of miniatures inside of the costume and would drop one out every once in a while. This was a big costume, as it hung below my knees, but it was a big hit as well! I had forgotten just how much fun that was...thanks for the memory jolt!
