I have seen in the past some postings on here about throwing up foam. I am doing that. I have some wretched spells, and think my insides are coming out. Any advice?

Hi Julie. AND THIS TO WILL PASS. I am 3 months out and I feel fine now. It really just takes time. If you can lie down for awhils on your side , it helps. Good luck,Cindy

Be sure to check with your surgeon's office, especially if you have dry heaves. My DH had this happen about a month after surgery - couldn't keep anything down and was dry-heaving or bringing up some foam. He had an ulcer. I am about 2 years out, and once in a while, I still get the foamies, but it's more like spitting up. Sue

I have this problem all the time and I am 7 weeks post op. I can't burp so when I get gas in my chest this is the only way to get it out by vomiting and then it is all foam. The bad part is that when this happens.. I cannot eat or drink anything for the rest of the day because even a sip of water will bring the gas and foaming back. Hope all goes well with you! Wish I could be of more help. Doreen
