Any Support Group in Lima??

I have not had surgery yet, but I have been searching for a support group in Lima for when I do....How come I cannot find a support group in Lima? Do I need to start one myself?

hey vanessa i'm in ada not too far from lima i don't know of any groups around here i do know that quite a few ppl around our area have had this surgery or are waiting to get it so i'm sure one would go over well let me know if you find one or if you do start one up let me know if you need any help thanks a lot

Hi Guys, Bet there is a group. I just found out there's one in Van Wert, so I can't imagine Lima not having one. Call some of the hospitals, they should be able to tell you something. Good Luck La

Vanessa, Just wanted to say I hope you can locate a group. But don't wait to attend until after you have the surgery. They are a great sorce of info for pre op as well. Best of luck.

Hi Vanessa. I live in Russells Point (Indian lake) and am also looking for a support group! I am planning to have the lap-band procedure done with Dr Curry this fall/winter and would love to hear if there is a support group closer to my home. ~Deb
