HELP!!

Okay here I've been sitting here for 8 weeks waiting on my insurance approval-guess what, they lost it-it was in review and they lost it I can't believe it!! Oh, and to add on to that I was informed today that I need a stress test, seems that they found a slight change in my ekg, however when I went to my pcp she stated that it was normal?!! So now I have everything done, but now I have to go do that. I wish I'd known earlier, but nobody my pcp or the clinic let me know!! And the ekg was done July 19!! Oh, well I am just inpatient I guess, but gee whiz. Thanks for listening.

connie, I know how you are feeling....I went through some of the same stuff...only mine was ost at the surgeons office for 3 weeks all the time I thought I was waiting on insurance approval!!! It is agrivating but it all workd out in the end!! When the insurance finally got my stuff it only took them 3 days for an approval. as for your stress test that is probally not for the insurance but just pre-op tests and it will probally be nothing to worry about..they just don't want any surprises and neither do you once your on the table. Keep your chin up everything will work ut fine...all the worry will be over in no time and you will be on the other side with us before you know it...once you get approved everything moves alot faster than you think it will...it did for me.!!! Hi Connie! That's what we are here for! It will all work out - just very frustrating while you wait. I called insurance after determining that OSU sent my packet to them, was told they still didn't have it after 2 weeks and that it could take up to 4-5 weeks to process. I was soooo bummed! Then I got home that same afternoon to an approval letter in the mail - go figure! Hope it goes very smoothly for you once they actually receive it! Pam
