HELP...I FEEL LIKE I'M DROWNING

COULD SOMONE PLEASE HELP ME I GOT THE MOST DISTURBING NEWS THIS MORNING MY SURGEON HAS DECIDED TO LEAVE HIS PRACTICE AND MOVE TO MARYLAND I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR 2 YRS FOR MY SURGERY AND I'M 6 WEEKS AWAY THIS IS NOT EASY THIS JOURNEY HAS BEEN LONG AND HARD CAN ANYONE GIVE ME SOME DIRECTION KATHERINE

HEY KAT I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL,BECAUSE THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME,ALOT OF THE TIME WHEN DOCS LEAVE THEIR PRACTICE THEY REFERS YOU TO SOMEONE ELSE,ATLEAST MINES DID,HOWEVER IT DID MAKE THE WAIT LONGER BECAUSE I HAD TO WAIT FOR A APPT.BUT ONCE I GOT THE APPT.THE BALL BEGAIN TO ROLL PRETTY QUICKLY,JUST HOLD ON,MAYBE IN A WAY IT'S THE BEST. I WILL KEEP YOU IN MY PRAYERS ebony

ebony, thank you for all the encouragement, i did call another place it is 3 1/2hrs away but it will be well worth the trip, you are right maybe it is for the better, i have been waiting for him to get well enough for my surgery anyways, God knows whats best for me since i am his child. good luck on your upcoming date i will be praying for you as well, hopefully this is not the last tme we communicate. god bless you & thanks katherine * by the way my husband calls me "kat"

Hi,If I were you I would make an appointment with Dr,Curry. He is wonderful man and you are only 4 hrs away at the most. Stay in the hospital 3 or 4 days and the drive home will be fine. He is well worth the time it takes to get here.Call him today please,Cindy

Katherine, who is your surgeon in Toledo? Have you called Dr. Patrick White? He is my surgeon and did a fantastic job on me in March of this year. He is in the phone book or you can email me. Good luck. Patti
