*GOT APPROVED!!!!*
I received a call on Tuesday from Christy saying that my surgery has been approved! YEAH!!! I am excited and more then a little nervous. At first I was just excited and then I started to get nervous about having it done. I'm sure that this is normal.
My first appointment with Dr. Kligman is on August 27th. I don't know if they schedule the surgery date that day or not.
My insurance was GREAT!! I had to have a few blood test done and do a psyc. evaluation, but that was it. The doctors office sent in the results and within 24 hours they received a reply from the insurance company. It was actually a lot less hassle than I thought. I am thankful, because I know that for most people it is not as easy.
Good luck to everyone out their still waiting for approval. Don't give up! It took me over a year to get to this point.
Melinda, Congratulations. What great news. Keep that positive energy going. We have a support group in the Toledo area if you are interested. We would like to help in any way we can.
