How about this question?
Well I am finally home and thought of a new question for today. By the way it was great to meet all of you in the earlier post. What new activitiy do you hope to try once you loose some weight and have the energy for something more physical? Me it will be water skiing. I tried when I was an obese teenager. Was not a success. But I am going to do it next summer. How about all of you?
Hi Debbie,
If I ever get to have surgery & lose this extra person I carry around, I would love to go skiing, in the snow that is! A few years back, when I had lost a large amount of weight, my husband & I took a trip to Negril. It was there that I tried to water ski....not a pretty sight LOL!!!! My legs just wouldn't cooperate so I hope that skiing in the snow won't be as difficult.
If it so happens that I can't do that either, I would love to go tubing in the snow. I have a 6 year old little guy & I just would love to be more active with him & for him!
Good question & I can't wait to hear what others will say!!!!
I would like to learn how to run. I never learned how to as a kid, and I want to try. I just need to get this flappy skin taken care of so I don't beat myself to death with these things I used to call boobs!
I do powerlift tho!
I am also wanting to go white water rafting too! What a rush that would be!!
Hi Deb and the rest of the gang !!
Something new huh?? well.. I can think of something "old" that I'd like to be able to do again.... it's just to be able to "walk" without PAIN !! Like going to the store with out having to use a scooter.
And for the something new.. that I have never done before and have always wanted to do is.... suba dive... like by the great barrier reef.... that would be awesome. I have done a little snorkling...but always felt or knew I was too large to suba.
Good question Deb... keep um coming !!
Happy day everyone !!
Hugs,
Cindy
I've not let the weight stop me from trying many of these activities but I haven't had much success at them. Could never get up on the water skis. Cross country skiing was a nightmare. I love the idea of running but have met so many women who injured themselves running that I am a bit afraid of that. Dancing sounds good, maybe rollerblading, parachuting or para sailing.
