Does it matter the doctor's name on the medicaid approval? Mine has my pcp on it but I was told I need my surgeon's name to get the surgery done. I don't know why cos it has a claim number on it. I have been trying since October and my approval runs out in Sept. Thanks. Doreen

What I know is that....as long as the pcp on the card gives you a referral to the surgeon and approves the surgery it will approve. Good luck! PJ
