I am still looking for anyone who is waiting for a date. Who has had him or surgery. please let me know. debbie

I have had him for surgery.

Debbie- I am 2 weeks post-op. Dr. Chand did my surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. He is a wonderfully supportive Doc. He has a great staff working with him also. My surgery went wonderfully and recovery so far has been great too! I see him this week for post-op check up. I'm down 20 pounds already. Dr. Chand does an information session each month for WLS canidates. Have you seen him or talk to him yet? They have a great program at the Clinic, that includes your phsycologist, nutritionist, nurses, support groups and wonderful follow up. I would recomend him to anyone! He does the band and LAP bypass. I have a few friends I've made here on the site that have also had Dr. Chand. Good luck, please feel free to email me any questions you might have. Angie

I'm in the process of getting everything done for approval -- and waiting for my date with Dr. Chand. I've seen his nutritionist -have a second appt at the end of July and will see the psychiatrist in August. Hopefully will get the paperwork submitted then, although he did say he wanted me to see his endocrinologist. But I can't get an appt. until October with him! Dr. C said we might not have to wait for that to get everything set though so....I'm hoping it won't be too much longer... What is the average time you all have waited to get it set up? And I'm just a little anxious about this psych testing...what's that all about?
