Paging Dr. Curry, Please

Hi Dr. Curry, I am 51 years old. My BMI is 34.6, and since I had my thyroid destroyed at 41, I have constantly gained weight. I was not small to begin with! I have knee problems, and acid reflux. I has diagnosed w/BOOP 3 years ago, and have severe asthma. Being overweight is effecting all aspects of my life and I'm wondering if I would even be considered for WLS surgery. I'm used many the prescription pills, treatment plans such as Jenny Craig, Weigh****chers, and Curves. I'd much appreciate your first impression. Thanks. JannK
