Support Group in Columbus??

Hi everyone, I am almost 2 weeks post-op (I had my surgery with Dr. Mikami at OSU). I know OSU has a support group on the 1st Wednesday of the month. Does anyone else? Who goes to what, and is it helpful? I love this board, but would also like to meet with people to discuss everything. Thanks! Jenny

Hi Jenny, I live around the Groveport area and am going to the Barix Clinic in Groveport, right now I'm going through my preop testing. I have found there are 2 support groups on is in Gahanna at 425 S. Hamilton Rd phone 837-9900 on the 2nd Thurs from 7-9pm ( heard this one is great.) Also there is one around the Eastland Mall area at the SE Metro Library on the 1st Wed of the month from 7-8:30pm. I hope this helps How are you feeling and what kind of surgery did you have lap or open or what? Also what insurance did you have? Did you have a hard time with the psy evaluation finding one that is? Let me know how your doing. Connie
