I kind of got some good news today!!

I was asked today by my insurance about whether I had testing on my thyroid. I couldn't remember when it was but I was sure it was about 5 years ago. I called my PCP and was told I also had it done 4/03. I was so excited...then I found out it needed to be done within 6 months. I got aggrivated and asked the nurse if there was anything else I needed and that it seemed that as soon as I did one thing the insurance requested they were asking for something else. She said "I don't want to get you too excited but I asked the same thing and the person at your insurance company said they had everything else they needed and it looked really good". I am so happy but trying not to get too excited. I am going to get my thyroid testing done tomorrow or Friday and I hope to hear something soon afterward. Then she tells me they still have surgery openings the 3rd week of JULY!! HOLY COW!! I could be having this surgery in just a few short weeks!! PLEASE say a prayer that this all goes smoothly from here on out and I get that approval I am looking for!! Thanks!! Tara
