Hello I didnt know if anyone has had medicaid before? and if you have did it take a long time to get approved? I had received some disappointing news last week....my family dr. said she wouldnt see me anymore....so I hope Dr. Curry has everything he needed. My family dr. had alot of negative perspectives of the gastric bypass surgery whenever I went to inquire about with her. And so I went around her and I found Dr. Curry and noticed that he had accepted medicaid so I called my self........So now Im in a predictiment.........Does anyone know what I should do..

So your Dr does not want to see you because you went around her?????? Sounds to me like you are better off anyways...whioch I know I do not know the whole situation and you quite possibly NEED this Dr but that is horrible! Best of luck to you!

Hello thank you for your kind words..... Well a couple of months ago I asked my dr about this surgery and nothing she said was nice about it everything was totally negative....Just like if I asked her to switch me to another birthcontrol everything was negative except for the depo vera shot....which I hate....yea I guess its a good thing for me because you need a dr that stands for this surgery........

Since she won't see you anymore...be sure to request all your records...since you need to find another PCP.
