Need Doctor for psych eval

Hello, Can anyone tell me a doctor to go to for a psych eval that accepts Medicial Mutual of Ohio? I have not been able to locate one. This should be all I need before my claim can be submitted to the insurance for approval. Thanks for any help anyone can offer. Lisa

Hello, I have MMO also. I just went to MMO's web site, you then go to members. On the right you'll see "Find an Doctor/Hospital". Then you'll go to a page where you pick which plan you have. Robin, I'm going to be using your appeal letter. I thought it was great! I just got denied by MMOH, after waiting 3 mos. They are very slow, and I guess are running 30 days behind. All my info was submitted Mar. 30, and I just received the letter of denial. Grrr.... Anyway, thanks for writing a great letter for the rest of us to use as a guideline. Pamela B.

If you are near Columbus, Ohio there is a good Doctor at OSU outpatient clinic. His name is Dr. Kramer. I had my Psych eval with him today. Obviously I will not have the results until next week, but it seemed to go well. He was easy to talk to and very honest about the kind of behavior modification necessary to make the surgery a success. He takes Medical Mutual (at least on the supermed plus plan).
