Help

Hi, Does anyone know anything about Dr. Craig Eyman at ParmaCommunity Hospital or Dr. Mark Klingman and Dr. Tim Duckett in the Toledo area. These are the only Dr.'s my insurance company will let me go to? Thanks

no-sorry - i have no knowledge but can you look them up on here? if there is any info about them you could email patients etc....

I don't know anything about these surgeons personally, but I hear that Dr. Kligman has a one year waiting list. I don't KNOW that for certain, but there aren't a whole lot of surgeons in Toledo doing WLS. Which procedure are you planning to have? Good Luck to you! Angela

Hi Angela, Thanks for responding. Wow, a 1 year wait. He must be very popular or the only one doing it in the Toledo area. I want to have the lap WLS or the lap band. Not too sure yet which one.I can't and don't want to have the open. I cannot afford to be off work 6 weeks nor can my employer let me off for that long. Plus I am a baby, the less pain the better! LOL What procedure did you have and how are you doing? Who did you go to? Thanks again Kathy

Hi Kathy - Dr. Craig Eyman has an office at the Northern Ohio Bariatric center of Parma and does his surgeries at Parma General Community Hospital. I started going to him after my original surgeon cancelled all of her gastric bypass patients due to malpractice insurance going up so high. I fell in love with Dr. Eyman when i first meet him! He is very easy to talk to and he has a wonderful secretary Cheryl who is very helpful. I will be having my open RNY on June 22, 2004 with Dr. Eyman. I do not know anything about Dr. Klingman or Dr. Duckett - sorry. I wish you the best of luck! If you have any more questions, please e-mail me.

Hi Donna, Thank you so much for the infomation on Dr. Eyman. It is always great to talk to someone who has seen the Dr. I have sent my patient questionaire to Cherl, but so far have not heard back from her. How long did it take for you to hear from them? Hi Kathy. I believe that Dr. Duckett does lap band WLS. I have heard of a lot of people who have used Dr. Kligman at MCO, and have not heard anything bad about him. I agree with looking them up on this website and contacting other patients. I had mine done by Dr. Patrick White in Toledo on 3-10-04 and have lost 82 lbs. since the surgery. No complications so far.
