10 days to go!!!!!!!

Hi everyone, thought I would update on the pre-op appt. It went great!!!! I absolutely love Dr. Spier, he is great, nice, knowledgeable, and very upfront and honest about the whole thing. I would like to thank Meaghan McLean for even mentioning his name on this message board or I would have never checked him out. (Probably would not have had the surgery at all). I trust this man with my life. He also made it very clear that he has never lost a patient. So that's good news huh? I'm so excited and can't wait. But has anyone had the fear that you would get so close and back out or something will go wrong? I gathered up $1600.00 and my friend is loaning me $200.00, so I just need to raise another $200 and I'm good to go. Thanks again for listening Traci

Ignore the little voices that are telling you "DOOM and GLOOM" .. lol .. I think it is very normal to have fears when your down to the wire .. in fact, you might be a little more worried if it was just another day .. lol .. Keep as positive as you can, this will help you heal better and faster. Picture yourself 9 months from now, what you'll look like, what you'll feel like, what you can accomplish then that you can't now. If you keep focussed on that, you'll be able to keep the negetivities at bay. Meaghan
