Dr. Adolph leaving!!

Good Morning to all... I just found out from Barix Clinics that Dr. Adolph is leaving!! Does anyone out there have hime and maybe know why?? I'm so upset, he is a Very Caring and Wonderful doctor, Now I need to find another surgeons to follow up on, Does anyone know about the other surgeons at Barix? and How is their bed-side manner?

Hi, I did have Dr. Adolph to begin with but his insurance department refused to submit my paperwork declaring I would be denied. I agree to that but the only way I could fight it was to be denied and appeal but they would not allow me the chance to do that so, I switched to Dr. Curry. I've heard others talk about a couple of the other surgeons at Barix but I don't know of anything first hand. I agree, Dr. Adolph was a very caring and wondeful doctor-highly recommended to me by my PCP. I wish him the best-Barix is losing a wondeful doc! Beth

Hi C, I'm a Barix patient too.... My doctor is Dr. Stelmack... you will love him.... actually I like several of the doctors there, My most contact has been with Dr. Stelmack though!!!

I agree with Venita! I also had Dr. Stelmack and he is phenomenal! I always look forward to my post op checks with him and the staff. They are all so kind. (plus it gives me a good reason to take a day off work to drive the 2+ hours for my appts..lol) I had my open RNY on Feb 17, 2004 and as of today I am down 70 lbs. YEEHAWW!! The benefits are ongoing every day.. Good luck! Andrea

I think Dr. Viglianco is great myself. I have had two doctors leave from there now. First I had Dr. Kaczmarski (my surgeon), and than I had Dr. Choban. Now, I will see Dr. Curry here in Cincinnati for any kind of emergencies. They are falling apart there in Columbus. Love, Sandy Pierce
