Plastic surgery & Medicaid?????????

Hey guys- Just had a quick question. I wondered if anyone that has required plastic surgery after WLS has had Ohio Medicaid and if they covered it. I had no problem getting my surgery covered. Now I'm just worried about the plastic surgery I will need after WLS. Thanks so much, Ang

I have Medicaid and also had no problem with getting WLS covered. I have seen a PS and he didn't say either way if Medicaid would be easy to work with. It's too soon for PS for me and I won't have Medicaid much longer, I hope to be getting a job soon. So I probably won't be getting PS with Medicaid. But I was told at a support group meeting that Medicaid is a pretty good chance of getting it covered. I know in the patient handbook it says for medical nessecity. Getting the consult was no problem!
