I got a date!!!!!

I posted several weeks ago about finding a new pcp who was willing to write my letter of medical necessity, due to the fact that the doctor I had been seeing only since Dec. of 2003 was not for the surgery and would not even consider referring me for surgery. I found a wonderful Dr. very close to my home and he wrote a wonderful letter. I faxed the letter to Dr. Maguire's office on the 3rd and called Valerie to make sure she received the letter. In the same breath she told me that I had already been approved by anthem based on all the other info I had sent them. I couldn't believe what she was telling me. She sent my info to them on the 26th of may and got an approval on the 2nd of June. God is with me always!!!!!!! I will be having RYN Lap. on Sept. 22 with Dr. Hadley at Dr. Maguire's office.

Mary- YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! I had to get that out of the way. I'm so happy for you. I got my date last month, and will never forget that feeling. You know the whole time you're scared to get your hopes up and be excited, but now all those feelings rush in as soon as you find out about that approval. My surgery date is June 29th. I'm playing the waiting game with you....waiting for the surgery date! Good luck, and feel free to email me and chat. I'm sure we will be feeling alot alike this month, and only 3 months for you.
