Support Group Toledo Area

There will be a get acquainted meeting for a support group in the Toledo area on Monday (next) June 7 th from 7:00 PM - 8:15 PM. We will meet at Way Public Library, 101 East Indiana Ave, Perrysburg...Parking is available in the rear of the library. Enter through the rear doors and turn to your left, take the elevator to the basement (LL)and turn right then left- we are in Room D- the first meeting room on your left. **the library is less than 5 minutes west of the Rte 795 exit of I75; rest rooms are immediately to the left of the elevator once on the lower level. The library is very well equipped for wheel chairs, if needed. Anyone who has had weight loss surgery or is considering surgery is welcome to attend. We will be getting to know each other and making plans for future meetings. If you have had surgery; please feel free to bring a before photo!Even if you attend another group's meetings- come - we would love to meet you! Please email me for further details and to possibly give me a head count- I want to be sure to be prepared ! Dress comfortably ! Hope to see you there!

I am really excited to get to meet all of you that are interested in a support group in our area! Be sure to bring ideas of what you would like to do in future meetings! speakers, topics, etc....we will be compiling ideas as we get to know each other! I had hoped to set these meetings up biweekly but the library is in midst of changing policies in re: room usage and we will probly have to meet elsewhere in august.....i tried to set this up somewhere geographically not to difficult to find(freeway access, etc) ... see you monday! oh! i tried to advertise in the Sentinel -Tribune and the Fremont News-Messenger...hope to see some little blurb to announce the meetings! I was too late for the Toledo Blade and the Press' deadlines for this month...so please spread the word!
