Just Overweight! & a Question???

Hello Everyone, I just wanted to share that........MY BMI IS UNDER 30!!!!!I'm just OVERWEIGHT!!!!!!!I'm at 142 as of today. I've lost 76 lb so far. I see Dr.Hadley on Thursday. I hope she's as happy with my loss as I am. I think I'm doing GREAT. I'm 6 1/2 mos out and I'm within 25-30lb of my GOAL. Now's the time to start getting info on TT and such. I have heard that MMO has in the past paid for plastic surgery if your weight stays the same for 1 year. What has anyone else heard???? Robin W 11/17/03 218/142/115

Hi Robin, You have done fantastic! I am so happy for you. Keep up the good work.I want to be between 140-145 and I am 55 pounds from it. I know I have to work real hard to get there. I just had my gallbladder out last Thursday so it has put me behind schedule. I am almost 3 months postop now! Time flies!!!! Keep up the good job Girl! Love & Peace Gayenell

Hello...I know that most insurances requires you be at least 18 months post op, and have documented "problems with the excess skin, things like irritation and rashes. If you do have those problems, do not treat it yourself, go to your doctor and have them give you something or recommend something to treat it. So they can document it, and when the time comes, your insurance will ask your doctor if they have documented proof of your problems with your excess skin, and they can release that info. to them.
