Jumping the Hoops with Secondary Insurance

Any help on this would be appreciated.... I live in KY, Dr. Curry is doing my surgery. I have 2 insurances - Medicare and CHA (PPO). I was wondering, since CHA is secondary to Medicare, can they legally request things, that to my understanding, Medicare is not requiring (ex: extra blood work; copies of my blood sugar log for a year; etc.)? I do not mind jumping the hoops, I just do not understand Most grateful, Sandra

Since they might be expected to pay for a part of this I think they could but it shouldn't affect the approval process because they are not primary. My opinion though. Try your manual
