Support groups in Toledo Area?

Hey all, I will be in Toledo during the month of June looking for a job, staying with my parents. I was wondering if there were any support groups and places and time they meet. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.... PS If any of you know of places that are hiring please share that too. I am a restaurant manager by profession, but am open to new horizons. , Kris -127 lbs.

Dorothy, Dr. Timothy Duckett (?SP) and Dr. Oweis hold a WLS support group at St. Luke's hospital in Maumee, Ohio every month. I happened to attend one just last night, May 17th. Maumee is on the outskirts of Toledo and shouldn't be trouble to find, the hospital is just off of highway 23 on the Anthony Wayne Trail. Good Luck with the job search. Dawn

Cynthia, Sorry it took so long for response, I've been out of town. I believe the support group at St. Lukes is mostly for the lap band procedure.

Hi, There is a support group meeting at Flower Hospital on June 20 at 1:00. The support group is for patients from the Barix Center but you should come and meet us.
