Medical Mutual Woes

Well I was denied also. I had to send in pictures to show the 2 years I was missing on my doctor charts. As far as the supervised weight loss..They are strict on that. I have Accordia Medical Mutual SuperMed Plus and they want 6 months. No receipts..cancelled checks..rosters or anything. I am currently in appeal because I have 3 1/2 months and 10 co-morbites ( I know thats not right) I can send you a copy of my appeals letter. My doctor thought it was great she asked to keep it on record to share with others. Good Luck

I am sorry that you were denied too.....it's just not fair is it? I have all five years of weight history, I just don't have much in the way of medically supervised diets. If you could send me a copy that would be great!!! I have one, but it wouldn't hurt to compare notes that may help! Thank you & good luck to you too on this battle! Jen
