What do I pack for my stay in the hospital?

We all know that we over-pack on any trip that we have ever made...but this 'trip' is very different! What should be included in my bag for the hospital stay after gastric bypass? I certainly don't want to forget anything! Thanks in advance for any advice on this matter! Amy

Hey, I plan to take ... backscratcher (very important!) slip on slippers robe personal hygiene stuff (deodorant, brush...) small fan my pillow think that about covers it. Best wishes to you. PJ WFAD

chapstick!!!! plan on wearing comfy clothes home-maybe a few pillows for in the car to surround yourself.....

Amy, I had my gastric bypass on 4/15 at OSU. These are the things I would pack: *your pillow (it just makes you feel more confortable) *chapstick (your mouth and lips get really dry) *a fan (I was extremely hot after surgery and the rooms weren't super cool) *toothbrush *ho****er bottle (my back hurt and this really helped) *super loose clothes to wear home (like sweats b/c your incisions will still hurt a little - I had laproscopic) *extra pillows for the car ride home (it's uncomfortable and you can feel every bump) good luck!
