I finally got the date

After losing the 2 year battle with my healthcare insurance provider, United Healthcare, I have gone the self pay route and I finally got the date of my surgery. Tuesday May 25, 2004 at St. Vincent Charity with Dr. Helmut Schreiber. Mark it on your calendars and any prayers that can be spared and sent my way that day would be greatly appreciated. I am a little scared because any complications that may happen will really strain my finances. Wish me luck!

Congrats on your upcoming surgery date....My surgery was on April 22nd at St Vincents.....I had Dr Sonpal. It will be 2 weeks on Thursday since my surgery and I am feeling great.....the first few days kinda sucked, but after that it has been wonderful.....I am down 25 lbs in just 2 weeks. Just think positive thoughts and everything will work out just fine. St Vincents is the best around and the surgeons are top notch so you will be in good hands. good luck! Do you have to have the money up front or are the willing to do payments....if you dont' mind me asking. I'm really worried about my insurance paying and I have Linda Patterson. I'm sure you will do great. amy
