Kidney Problems

I am 23 and was recently informed that recent bloodwork indicates that my kidneys are only functioning at 40-50% of normal. My creatinin (sp?) was the level that was high. Has this happened to anyone else? I am terrified. Please help with any advice or suggestions. Thank you in advance.

HI, Dawn..I'm a nurse at a bariatric hospital, I don't know if your physician or surgeon suggested this but you should see a urologist for clearance. As troublesome as it may seem, he may be able to let you know more about your situation. It may be nothing, and it may be a precursor to another problem, but either way it would be best.
