DONT Give UP!!!

Just wanted to let all of you know that are fighting with an insurance company to get some type of WLS DONT GIVE UP, be very tenacious, it is your future, your life that is in jeopardy!! It took me over 2 years and a spot on the local news here in Toledo last year and I finally was approved, I had everything wrong with me that could possibly be wrong, and had to fight like hell to get approval, but I never fully gave up. I had BPD/DS on 6-23-03 and I am just over 10 Mos. out and have lost 225 lbs. From 556 to 332, I did have a tiny plateau/gain last month, and let that get me down and thought that I was failing, but many members on here have pointed out that this is normal, and to keep on. So to those of you who have had WLS and also who have had a little gain, or a slowing in your loss, it is COMPLETELY normal, you are doing great, and dont let a little setback like that turn you back to your old habits, you have come way to far and should really appreciate the tool that you have that so many people are struggling to get everyday!! I will keep your words in my heart while I am on my journey I have been trying for two years and finally my surgeon told me surgery is a go and he will be calling with a date for me he said possibly in June thank you for posting these words it will mean a lot on here and keep up the good work
