Need Info.....Highmark BC/BS PPO

Is anyone using Highmark BC/BS out of PA. for the WLS? I would like some information about their process before I go into battle with them. I have e-mailed them already for information and received a b--- s--- response back. Any assistance will be appreciated!!

Hi....When i needed information about my insurance I asked around but I also used the insurnace information suppiled by this site. There are alot of helpful comments from people like us who have either been through the process of WLS or are strating beginning their journey (like me). I found it very informative. Thanks for the response. I have already went into the Insurers at the top of the page and really did not find anything useful for me. I am interested in finding physicians that are in network and what constitutes "Medical Necessity" to the Insurer. I was not able to locate on my Insurers web site any of the Drs. names that presently do the WLS. When I questioned my Insurer about the conditions of Med. necessity thier response was to have my Dr. contact them.
