New to the board

Hello everyone... just thought I'd introduce myself a little. My name is Terri, I'm married with 3 boys. I've been overweight since around grade 3 and MO for at least 15 years. I have several other health problems, none directly caused by the obesity, but I'm sure they are aggrivated by it. I've been toying with the idea of gastric bypass for a few years, but always told myself I would lose the weight on my own. Yeah, right! I've read several of your stories and found them so inspirational that I thought I might go ahead and take the next step. Checked on my insurance, and naturally it doesn't cover the surgery. Pffft! Thanks for being such an open and caring group.
