what does it take?????

Please I am trying to have surgery in Ohio with Medicare I want to know if anyone was able to be accepted and have the surgery with a surgeon or group without a physician followed diet plan. Or has anyone had the surgery anywhere in Ohio (willing to drive anywhere) with Medicare without hassle and in good time. PLEASE anyone answer

Kimberly, I operate on patients with Medicare all the time. It's very easy to get approved, actually, all you have to do is meet their requirements which are: 1) BMI requirements 2) you must have at least 1 comorbidity 3) you must have failed dietary attempts at weight loss (they don't specify physician-supervised) You shouldn't have a problem.
