Need a good insurance to purchase that covers WLS In Cincinnati

I have Humana Choice care and after 2003 they don't cover WLS. I was told that I should purchase a plan just for myself that covers this surgery. Do I just ask if WLS is an exclusion and if it's not then purchase the plan. Is is ok as soon as I purchase the plan to try and get approved or is that too soon? Hi Mary, You deffinatly want to make sure that WLS is covered before you buy the policy. Beware though that alot of additional policies DO NOT cover pre-exsisting conditions till after 1 year (or more) with them. Also make sure you read their brochure carefully. Good luck in your journey. Hugs Lori
