Looking for an Angel!

Just finished with my 12 week Learn Program (dietary class) with Ohio State University, tonight. Hoping to hear real soon from the surgeon's office for what is my next step. Looking for an angel(s) to help me thru this big moment in my life.

Have you gotten an angel yet? I haven't seen any posts... If I find out all the responsibilities ... I'd be happy to help... Let me know! V.

Hello Vicky, Great to hear back from you! I'd be honored to be your angel !!! I had my surgery on 1/21/04 at BTC in Groveport. I am doing fine, no compilcations. I've lost 40+ lbs. so far. I go back to the doctor on April 21st for an official reading...I try not to get on the scales too often... It's frustrating when the scales don't move. But I know my progress is good. My clothes are getting big!!! I participated in a fashion show at Catherine's yesterday. I was modeling clothes smaller than my before surgery size... that was a wonderful head rush! and I had lots of fun trying on all those clothes and hanging out with the women there! I used to model for them before surgery but had stopped because I wasn't trying to buy any more clothes in those sizes!.... It was a real blast to get to do it again! I went back to work 3 weeks ago. That's eight weeks after my surgery. Physically, I could have gone back sooner. I chose not to, b/c I wanted to be sure I had the eating under control before I went back. I didn't want to go back on less than total foods. Enough about me. I will contact Momma angel and find out what an angel volunteer does in detail....
