Just a few more days to go!

I'm trying to have a positive attitude and to stay calm as the days dwindle down - I was disappointed yesterday when I went for my last pre-op visit to the surgeon's office and he was not there! I saw a nurse - she was kind and answered all of my questions, but it just wasn't the same as having the opportunity to speak with my surgeon. I hope that I'll see him Monday when I check into the hospital, if not, I'm going to raise a little - - - -! Any suggestions to help me get in and out of the hospital in record time?

Walk, walk, walk, walk, walk, walk!!!!!! Do what they ask, but don't be afraid to question them either! Good Luck, I know you will do wonderfully!

I agree walk walk walk. and sip sip sip. one thing I did was start liquid protein in the hospital. protein promotes healing.

Keep yourself occupied and the time will fly by. Good luck to you and I'm jealous...I have to wait until next month, and I must admit, I already have butterflies! I'll be thinking of you and wishing you a speedy recovery.

Who is your doctor? I would be VERY unhappy if that happened to me. In the meantime, I wish you much luck and a healthy recovery. Concentrate on the rewards that lie ahead, not the discomfort of the near future.
