HEARTBROKEN AND LOST

In middle of night, I checked my doctors website to see what was new. That is when I found out that my doctor was closing his practice due to his liability insurance costs I was scheduled for WLS on April 16.I have called office with no return call and have e-mailed him as site requested with no reply. I have researched this site for 2 years and took a year to get PCP and insurance company as well as a bariatric counselor to agree on a doctor. I do not think I have the heart to start over with another doctor. Also in June all my tests will start running out. Any suggestions?My eyes are swollen from crying. My PCP has no dr.in my area that she wants. counselor wanted PA. dr Insurance said no and Dr from my town refused me due to had intestinal bypass 25 years ago, even though it was reversed. PLEASE HELP

You can do this. Now buck up little soldier. Dry those eyes and tomorrow get onm the phone and see who is out there that can get you through. I don't know any docs in your area but if you go tour locAL group website wlsbutterflynetwork.org there might be some extra help there.

Sandy, Don't give up! I am wondering, was Dr. Jaroch supposed to do your surgery? I was also going to him and found out last week that he is shutting down his practice. I am now trying to find a doctor in Summit County that takes Summa. So far no luck. I wish you the best of luck and hang in there. Jennifer
