Need help in canton area

Hello, I was wondering if anyone knew of a surgeon or doc in the canton area that I could go to that can help me proceed on what has to be done to have the WLS. I was checking into having it done with another company but it is not going to work out because of the length of travel they want me to go. I really want have this done I have already been told that I would qualify with out a problem. Anyone with any suggestions? Thanks ahead of time..

Kimberly, There is Dr's Hospital of Stark County in Massillon and also Dr. Meshekow who, if I remember correctly, is in Canton. Hope this helps. Jennifer

Thank you, But I found out he is no longer preforming them. I did find out that there was one other doctor on the list here and that was david stires, his number is no longer his and he is not even in the area any more. So I guess he is out to. Thanks anyway. KIM

Kimberly, Not to contradict what anyone else says but as far as Dr Meshekow(not sure how to spell it). That is who I was referred to last year and when I called he wasn't doing the surgery any more either I beleive due to insurance. I went to CCBS and where no that isn't CLOSE per say-it was really not that bad. Good luck. Miss

Thank you, yes you were right he is no longer preforming the surgeries,I will have to keep looking now for someone else now. I am checking with Mark Jaroch in akron but I have also heard he is no longer preforming them either. Thank again Kim

Sorry I am adding to this post I placed. I have been going over the list we have on here for surgeons, and have found out that many of them are not preforming them or are not even in busness anymore. So far I have called 17 different ones and no luck. Can this list be updated for new comers like me. Thanks for everyones help Kim
