DOES ANYONE KNOW OF SURGEON TAKING MEDICAID?

Hi again. I have tried 3 different places to see if they could take me for WLS, I am a patient of Dr. Jaroch's and NO ONE will take the Medicaid/Summa....Does anyone know of a surgeon around the Akron area who will? I am now about to bawl! Jen

I have Ohio Medicaid...I don't know what Medicaid/Summa is....but Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus accepted Medicaid for my WLS. Sorry I don't know of anywhere closer to Akron, but I would think there would be a place in Cleveland. You can always click on the "insurers" link at the top of the page and look up Ohio, you could click on people's names who have your same insurance and see who there surgeon was. I think you can also look up surgeons and it will say what insurances they have accepted. Good luck!
