HELP!!!

Oh my goodness! I just found out today that Dr. Jaroch is NO LONGER doing bariatric surgery! Sandy from his office told me his malpractice insurance doubled again this year and he is in the process of closing down his practice! Where do I go now?! When I talked to St. Vincent's they said I had to be pre-approved for the surgery from my insurance company(which, with Summa,I am not) so, where do I go from here?

HI Jennifer, I find this site to be very helpful. Just go to Ohio, click on Bariatric Surgeons and it gives a list of them in the state. You can also click on hospitals, sometimes many Drs belong to one group, and it is easier just to call the office than one particular Dr. I noticed that there are a few in Cleveland.

St. Vincents wouldet even talk to me either. I went to Dr. Stellato at UHHS. He is great I would call them.

Jennifer, I couldnt go to Saint Vincents because of my insurance. I found several other places here are the names of the ones I know doing Bariatric surgery in NE ohio, University, Metro health center, Parma, Elyria Medical hospital, Also a little south is Bariatric treatment centers in Groveport. I hope that helps you. I am one year out next month and down 130 lbs I had mine done with Dr Fallon at Metro hospital in Cleveland. I would recomend him myself.
