Medical Mutal of Ohio SuperMed Plus with Accordia

Hi, Has anyone had any problems with this insurance company? DOes anyone have them and had surgery through BTC in Groveport? I ask because my HR rep and Accordia said I do not have a cap on procedures. My life cape is 1 Million. I keep hearing about this 10k cap.

Hello, Each company sets it's own policy with MMO. Some companies put caps on there's others do not. BTC is not in network so you will be paying more out of pocket, 80\20 instead of 90\10. I went in-network and in total have paied less than $300 for my out of pocket. Good Luck, Robin W

That's what I have and they paid for my surgery at BTC. I had to pay $1500 because the docs there are not in network, but the hospital is. I got approval a few weeks after BTC sent my letter. I knew I was approved before they did; the insurance co. sent me a letter. After my surgery I got a letter about the 10k cap. We have had absolutely no problems with this insurance at all. Our copay is 80%, but most of the time they go ahead and pay 100%. For what we have to pay for it, it better be good, lol. ~Jessi
