Going for upper GI and stuff this Friday

I can't believe it ! My doctor has already got me going for an ultrasound, upper GI, and my blood gas work. WOW! I am not looking forward to the blood gas test. I have heard that it is painful for a couple of days afterward. But, hey ! No pain, no gain !! Right?!?! lol. I am wondering if there will be anymore tests to do before I get approval from my insurance though.. Anyone here have SUMMACARE HMO? It would be wonderful if I could have my surgery before August! It would be SOOOOO nice to actually be losing weight thru the hottest part of summer! lol
