Ashley Hardy Update

Ashley had her echo done yesterday. Today is her 15th Birthday. Mom Lori is taking her to the Newport Aquarium. Tomorrow she sees Dr. Garcia. I will keep you posted. Happy Birthday Ashley! Love, Sandy Pierce

Hi Sandy, I wanted to wish Ashley a Happy Birthday and I was not finding her on the messageboard.Then it dawned on me to click on "Ohio" for state MB and there I found you and her posts.DUH!! I am still learning.I was going to go see her on Tuesday at Children's.I had my sugery last Tuesday and on the evening of, I don't remember who visited me or who I talked to.I think I was still pretty much out of it that night. They seem like such sweet people and I am glad they have a spokesperson like you to keep us informed!She is the youngest I have heard of having this surgery and I wish her all the best!I know she will do great.I know I am still in pain and can't imagine going through this 16 years ago while I was turning 15.I have faith that the surgeons at Children's will do a super job.They really are brilliant. Take care and if you talk to Lori,let her know there are alot of people rooting for them both.Happy 15th Ashley!! Kyra
