ANY 3 MONTH POST-OP'S OUT THERE?

HI, I WAS WONDERING IF THERE ARE ANY 3 MONTH POST-OPS OUT THERE,AND HOW YOU ARE DOING?I HAVE LOST 55 POUNDS SINCE SURGERY ON 11-4-03.BUT,HAVE HAD QUITE A TIME WITH VOMITING I GO BACK ON LIQUIDS 4 A FEW DAYS,AND I AM FINE AGAIN.GO FIGURE. HUGSSSSSSSSSS SUE KYLE

Susan, This is a little off the norm, but not too uncommon. I personally would either do a scope on you or an xray study to make sure there is no narrowing of the connection between your pouch and small intestine. You should definitely let your surgeon know. Dr. C

I would have your doctor send you to have a scope done. I was vomiting for 2 weeks as well. Went back to liquids and was fine. The opening to my stomach was closing with scar tissue. Doctor sent me for a scope and they had to widen it with a balloon. After that I had a much easier time eating soft foods and etc. Even drinking was easier.
